ISO/TS 16949 standard is occurred by technical committee-TC 176 for global automotive industry. It includes
prepared by FORD;GM and CHRYSLER QS 9000, German VDA6.1, France EAQF and Italy AVSQ standards.
It is occurred on basic of ISO 9000 standard adding special needs of automotive sector. It has basic system understanding which provides
for continual improvement and not to have false.
Although QS 9000 standard pervades in last term, new standard gets ready to take its place. QS 9000 standard is available until 2003
year and is removed 2003 year after . Therefore QS 9000 standard will not see revision of 2000 year.
ISO/TS 16949 was developed by International Automotive Task Force (IATF) , ISO TC 176 representatives and automotive producers and
trade union specialist attendances.

AVSQ (ANFIA - Italy);
